We were recently featured in an article from the Desert Southwest Conference. Writing for the conference, Rev. Rachel Gilmore said:
“The Desert Southwest Conference is sending teams of clergy and laity to Denver in late August to participate in a “Hatchathon” hosted by Ministry Incubators. This is a three-day event where teams will “hatch” an idea and move through the stages of innovation to begin working on next steps, including developing a timeline, budget, and “pitch” for their idea. The event is being sponsored by three annual conferences in the Western Jurisdiction: the Desert Southwest, California-Nevada, and the Mountain Sky Annual Conference. Teams from all three annual conferences will meet in Las Vegas in February of 2024 for the “pivot” retreat as a continuation of this August event. Another exciting element of this Hatchathon process is that representatives from all three Foundations will be present in Denver on the final day of the event to hear the pitch from each of the teams…”
